Anuj Sawhney

He had his schooling at Saint Columbas High School, New Delhi. Is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, having graduated in 1995 with Honours degree in Commerce. He attended the Owen School of Management, Vanderbilt University, United States of America and passed out with Master’s Degree in Management with Operation Logistics and International Marketing as major focuses. On return to India, he joined the family business to actualise what he had learnt at the Management School.

He decided to pursue his hobby of acting as a vocation. He prepared himself by learning finer aspects of acting under Masters like Barry John. He prepared for films by joining courses in dance and film acting run by leading lights of Indian film industry. He was thus prepared for his calling and bagged main lead in ‘Nayee Padosan’, Fun2shh’, ‘Chingaari’, ‘Tom Dick Harry’, ‘Naina’ and ‘Life Mein Kabhie’. He also worked in over 150 TV commercials and music videos.

Having made his mark in the Hindi films, music videos and advertising industry he returned in 2001 to lead the Quality control, Vendor Development and Supply Chain Management verticals of Swiss Military Products Worldwide.

He became the Managing Director of Swiss Military Products Worldwide in 2008. The business is positioned as ‘premium lifestyle brand’ offering several product bouquets with a ‘one stop shop’ under one brand umbrella at an affordable price for the ever-demanding consumer. Tag line of the Brand is “World class products at affordable price.’ The business has grown to over 700 retail stores and presence in over 26 countries. He has displayed sharp business acumen by constant market research, stringent quality control and efficient inventory management. The Brand’s popularity has soared that can be gauged by ever growing product categories in global brand spectrum including travel gear, writing instruments, garments, leather accessories, electronics, cosmetics, watches, alarm clocks, lighters, keychains, torches, adapters, household items, kitchenware, outdoor and adventure accoutrements and home appliances.

He is a Director of Swiss Military Consumer Products a company listed on Bombay Stock Exchange.

A physical fitness enthusiast who enjoys swimming besides playing many other sports. He is keen on ‘speed biking’ and is a part of a biking group that has undertaken rides along some of the most challenging routes to fascinating destinations both within India and abroad. He is a keen trekker and has explored many fascinating remote locales.

A creative writer and pens down very thought-provoking pieces inspired from his observations of everyday life and experiences. He is a cynosure of music and is a part of a few music groups.
